MIKE ROSS
Mike Ross has built a career at the intersection of marketing, photography, and music, three creative disciplines unified by a deep commitment to storytelling. For more than 20 years, he served on the marketing leadership team at Sweetwater Sound, one of the most respected companies in the music industry, helping guide its growth into the largest online pro audio and musical instrument retailer in the United States and the second-largest globally. As Vice President of Marketing, Mike led large creative teams and oversaw brand strategy, storytelling, and retail marketing initiatives that blended creativity with measurable business impact.
In 2024, Mike founded INchrome, a fine-art print studio specializing in large-format pigment and ChromaLuxe metal prints. Through this work, he collaborates closely with artists, photographers, and organizations to elevate imagery into lasting, museum-quality works. Photography has been a constant thread throughout his career, alongside decades of experience as a creative consultant focused on bringing ideas to life through thoughtful execution.
A lifelong musician, producer, and audio engineer, Mike is also a multi-instrumentalist and songwriter, with extensive experience producing, mixing, and mastering independent projects. This musical background informs a creative perspective grounded in rhythm, emotion, and connection. Mike holds a B.A. in Marketing and Communications from Texas Tech University and has been recognized with multiple awards for marketing campaign work. In addition, he has served as a guest speaker for NAMM University and regularly mentors and speaks on leadership, marketing, photography, and songwriting.
