The Evolution of Digital Photography Photoshop, Lightroom & Beyond

A highlight of the weekend was a special presentation by Jeff Schewe, award-winning advertising photographer and pioneer in the development of Adobe Photoshop, Camera Raw, and Lightroom.

In this engaging lecture and live demonstration, Jeff shared fascinating stories from the early days of digital photography—long before Photoshop became a household name—and demonstrated how these tools continue to shape his fine art practice. He also offered thought-provoking insights into the rise of AI-generated imagery, encouraging photographers to explore these technologies with both curiosity and discernment.
